Computer vision is an overly generous word that can mean many things. It refers to facial recognition, video stabilization, object tracking, and biometric scanning all the same breath (OK, there's much more than even that.)
Most companies in computer vision rely on "post-processing" and "cloud support" which deliver results after the fact. Our focus is on real-time or "edge" software designed to run on mobile or embedded devices. This would include security cameras, baby cameras, or car dashcams. There are a host of considerations when designing on a system that needs consistent delivery with constrained resources.
